Ingredients

  • 1 ripe Avocados From Mexico, gently mashed
  • 1 - 5 ounce can tuna in water, drained
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  • 1 tb sweet relish
  • 2 tb green onions
  • 4 butter lettuce leaves
  • 4 slices whole grain bread

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mash avocado with lemon juice. Add flaked tuna into bowl and combine avocado mixture, celery, sweet relish and onions, as desired.
  2. Scoop a spoonful of tuna mixture and spread on half of the slices of bread. Top with a leaf of lettuce and remaining slices of bread. Cut in half and serve.
