Ingredients

  • 4 slices of sourdough bread sourdough bread
  • 2 hatch green chiles, roasted, sliced
  • 2-1 oz slices smoked gouda cheese, sliced
  • 2-1 oz part-skiim mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • 4 oz turkey breast, sliced thin (deli)
  • 1/2 medium Avocado From Mexico, sliced
  • 2 tsp margarine spread
  • cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Peel and remove the blistered skin from the chile and remove the seeds. Slice into strips.
  2. Lightly spread margarine on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Heat pan/skillet on medium heat. Spray with cooking oil.
  4. Assemble grilled cheese: Spread both sides of each sandwich with margarine.
  5. Recipe makes 2 sandwiches – Split ingredients evenly to make sandwiches.
  6. Place in the hot pan and cook 2 – 3 minutes per side, until bottoms are crisp and brown.
  7. In the final minute of cooking, put a top on the pan to throughly melt cheese within each sandwich.
